i can see where the abortion question comes from. its a basic question about whether we see human beings as lumps of meat or as a 'sacred' being that shouldn't be violated and to be honest its a moral labyrinth. from my own point of view i don't see the connection between that and the use of living but unfortunate people as sources of organs for the privileged (and lets be honest, that was the original proposal).

i really don't want to get into an abortion argumnet as i'm sure it could get especially nasty, even by this forum's recent standards. my basic take on it, though, is that it should be perfectly legal as long as the maximum age of the foetus is 10 to 12 weeks. i have been unlucky enough to have to support 2 women through abortions and it is not a pleasant time for anyone. i've also had the joy of seeing the blob that was to become my son for the first time. i think i know both sides of the story reasonably well. i also think that my moral, ethical and logical reasoning is as fallible as just about anybody else's.

personally if i had a vagina i wouldnt get an abortion ... its not the same as saying that if i had a drinking problem and ended up fckin my liver i should be the one to blame and shouldnt be going around looking for a transplant...

Oh, and many more people who dont abuse their organs (not just Liver which is so easily thrown in because it can be abused by excesive drinking) but kidneys, hearts and anything else which can be donated due to generic defect are also needed.

Try not to put the Liver abuse solely down to the reason people need transplants, it doesnt wash and sounds ridiculously bias in an obvious attempt to get a brown tongue. :;):

Im sure Saint didnt mean it to come across that way, he is a genuinly nice fella, cant people just drop it now?

We have all said things what come out the wrong way or regret.

Saint probably wishes he hadnt have opened his mouth now to this can of worms, but he is entitled to his opinion like everyone else is, whether its right or wrong.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I'm playing devils advocate here.

S@int was told that he was barbaric, Nazi and all these other things because first and foremost his morals were wrong. So what about the Morals of killing an unborn child who hasnt even been given the chance in life. Isnt that not "barbaric" then, isnt that imoral, wouldnt that of been conceieved and riduculously savage before it became generally thought of then legalised by many countries ?

lsn mate... the way he said what he said was absolutely out of line...
His way of thinking makes me sick and its a good reminder that theres still plenty of ignorant, uneducated people out there who still cant seem to understand the basics of morality and humanity... and guess what they dont all live in 3rd world countries.... the sheer thought of him implying that his life or even the life of a family member of his being worth that of a million africans or 3rd world natives makes me sick ! id fckin shoot myself before killing someone whos done me no harm ! maybe its just me but if he has a fckin opinion of his own then so do i...

I know hes changed his tone now and started pasting some shiitty article hes been googling about all sorts of things to try and make it seem like hes not on his own on this but i doubt that anyone with any sort of credibility would come out and say anything close to what hes saying...

a friend of mine has died because he couldnt afford an organ transplant... im sure he would fcking smacked saint in the head before he died if he had heard the nonsense hes been saying down here... his opinion is not "very well put out" as some are suggesting.. its plain stupid and ignorant...

its all about the perception of when life begins. with a living, pointy stick carrying 3rd world nomark there is no doubt. with a several week old foetus there is still discussion. the outcomes of this discussion suit some more than others.

Saints opinion was pretty controversial. I should think he probably wishes now he expressed it in a different way but there you go, I for one have always found him to be a nice fella and I won't be jumping on any bandwagons to stick the boot in. I disagree with him on the subject but there you go.

My old mans a nice bloke too, quite intelligent with it but he's not averse to the odd "round em up and shoot the feckers, the whole lot of 'em" when discussing chav's/louts/pikeys/layabouts. I've heard people talking about "hating" football fans and footballers and describe in vivid detail how they'd like to take part in breaking someones legs, shooting the owners, bombing Goodison etc. People say daft stuff sometimes, lifes like that.
