Unless the wicket flattens out, England ought really to be a certainty from here. That said, it's Australia and as such they just don't lose comfortably. We'll set them about 320, and someone in their team WILL get about 140, we WILL bowl some rubbish, and they'll need 45 with two wickets left. from there it'll go down to the wire.
On a side note, although i'll enjoy it if we win, it may be nitpicky but preparing a pitch like that isn't on really. There's result pitches (which obviously we needed) and theres fecking ridiculousness which unfortunately this one comes into the category of. They might as well have just given the Ashes to whoever won the toss and batted first, which is hardly in the spirit of the thing. England had an absolutely massive advantage in that respect, and if Ponting regrets anything when he retires (and he shouldn't regret much, he's been a wonderful player and a good bloke too) he'll regret that he called that one wrong. If the Aussies had won the toss, they'd have got 400 plus and won by an innings.
