I loved Life on Mars and was very happy to hear that this was going to be made, then i heard that some of the press did noy like it.

well i loved it, the 80's are my time.

I think this show will get better and better.

I thought it was a little caracatured last night, but I think it will get better as it goes along. I think the girl is very fit and certainly helped to keep me interested.

A fair way to go if its to reach the standards set by Life on Mars, but a decent first episode.

Loved it... thought she was dressed absolutely spot on as well as being a complete babe.  "Gene" (with the fingers) :D is such a good character and his sidekicks are just perfect... once again the music is so good.  It ain't Life on Mars, although there were a few good links to Sam... which I liked.

Must dig out my Roxy Music... fckin brilliant

Looks promising but a bit caricatured. I never saw life on mars until last week when the last episode was on, I watched that and it saved me two years worth. :D

Why is the new series named after a Samantha Mumba song from the 1990s  :D

Its ment to be caricatured, Alex already knows the others by reading Sams report, she has made them bigger than life, so this is how she think they will act in the 80's.

one thing was a bit of a shock was that we can now see what the others ar doing without Alex being there, in LOM eveything was seen with sam's eyes, but yet again as she already knows the others her mind has given them the freedom to act without her there.

well thats the way i see it lol :D

Thought it was a bit crappy to be honest. Loved LOM but this seems to be exactly the same format served up in different packaging.

Finally watched, not too bad though as others have stated a bit of caricature. Though Keeley is right fit and that quirky actress who plays the WPC is always worth a look............yes shallow Laz always watch for all right reasons

That was great last night but found it funny that she held back from saying anything about the wedding.

I laughed when she was talking her pyscho babble and he was asking "where's my f*cking snooker cue" for a bit of old fashioned policing.
