I'll tell you what's impressed me most with this ashes tour (apart from england winning it, obviously) - it's the good sportsmanship that's been shown by both sides throughout the series. Usually England vs the Aussies can get a bit heated but this time it's been better even though this time the series has been quite in-the-balance

To see Warne & McGrath's standing ovation when they left the field was really quite heart-warming

It's just genuinely nice to see in these times of overpaid spoilt brat sportsmen that a bit of decent sporting rivalry can go hand-in-hand with gentlemanly conduct. Then again, anything else just wouldn't be quite cricket would it?

seperate issue, when people 1st register does anyone else feel its a little condescending to tag them as LFC newbies, when they are actually internet forum newbies, just a thought.

I am not a tool ... and dont really take it lightly being called one, dont judge someone you dont know! You sound like an intelligent enough fella to know that!

Dont get me wrong i am chuffed about us winning the Ashes,but i thought the parade was a bit over the top........ok the Rugby Lads won the WORLD Cup  against 16 nations and the Olympic gold medal winners were against WORLD competitors from all over the WORLD but this was only England V Australia.It just seemed way over the top
