Christ almighty, sounds dodgy. This site is actually quite educational at times!

Take my advice, if any volatile military types come barging into your home just tell them you'll "love them long time" and offer a quick "sucky-f.ucky" for them to leave you alone.
  :D

In all seriousness, keep your head down mate and hopefully it'll blow over peacefully.

Peewee, if it does kick-off go and burn the chang beer factory down, blame it on the civil unrest and then the blueshite will be up the creek without a paddle as chang'll probably have to pull their sponsorship to rebuild. :p

so i just went for a drive round, it was 9 am here and the roads are normally like a car park but they were quite empty. however the army is at every major road junction, hummers and tanks everywhere but they seem very calm, not stopping traffic and just appear to be a visible presence.

however thaksin is yet to return to thailand and he says he is still in power so can mobilise the army to quell the coup. (the soldiers in the coup are loyal to general sonthi who was sacked yesterday by thaksin, and a lot of the army is in favour of thaksin). so we will se what happens when he returns.
