One of my favourite actors, Butch and Sundance, The Sting, Cool Hand Luke, the list goes on. Also did great work for charity,. set up a place over here in Ireland for kids with cancer.

Great actor and a great bloke, RIP Paul.

Was it a week ago or so that I saw Paul Newman in a photo driving a fast car? 2 weeks tops.

I read that he was very ill and he was enjoying one of his favourite passions until the end, but I never imagined his final day was so close.

He was a top top actor. What's the name of that film about billiard, that has posted Bad Bob? that old film about billiards is much better than the modern sequel "the colour of money". In Spanish that film is called "El buscavidas" a word to describe someone who has to use all the tricks to survive in the life. Great film.

As a person, Paul Newman was loved too. We have an important film festival here at San Sebastian, and the likes of Woody Allen, Johny Depp, Paul Newman, Bette Davies came here. Paul was known for his charming personality here, he was never an arrogant "super star"
