Saw "Pan's Labyrinth" the other night and quite enjoyed it. As I understand it, it's an example of "Magic Realism" although a word of warning: there's not so much magic as the trailers (and the film's opening sequence) lead you to believe and the realism--in terms of the violence--is quite visceral. Still, I liked it! :nod

I've just finished watching a film called 'This is England'. A very good film set in the early 80's, about the social habits of the BNP. Nowhere near as full on as Rompa, but still quite life like and a good watch.

Definately worth a watch.

Just watched "Bobby " a cr@ppy film about Bobby Kennedy. Don't waste your time

, loads of stars in this, but the story is so slow that by the time you get half way through your wishing he would miss and shoot you instead.

anyone seen severance with danny dyer, that film is a bloody menace, watched the departed the other day on dvd honestly its one of the best film's ive ever seen amazing cast, nicholson is just fantastic... :cool:

oops! yeah it's a good film the violence is awesome the story a bit mad. but overall i'd say 6 1/2 out of 10

Watched Blood Diamond on Monday...great show and it did not end how i expected which is always good!

I'd recommend it to anyone!
