I ALWAYS WONDERED since I was a teenager anyway what would think a real soldier that had real battles about films like Platoon, Apocalypse now and this kind of films.

I guess nothing can compare to the adrenaline bursts, fear and all that that it's impossible to imagine if you haven't been there.

But do any war films actually grasp at least remotely some of the sensations of war? what do you think when you see those?

With regard to your last sentence

But do any war films actually grasp at least remotely some of the sensations of war? what do you think when you see those?

for the first part the answer is essentially NO. Occasionally however watching a well researcherd film like "Platoon" it's sometimes like receiving a postcard from a place you visited a long time ago, reminds you of where you where but not necessarily what was happening.

for the second part "what do I think" ? . I laugh at the funny stuff and don't dwell on the rest.

Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.
Samir: Piece of sh!t.

Death Sentence starring Kevin Bacon.

Vengeance movie that poor script notwithstanding still manages to tick all the boxes with some well crafted action.  "Deathwish " with a dash of "Taxi Driver" as  Bacon goes all vigilante on a team of gang bangers. Not gonna win any Oscars but then it wasn't meant to. Break out the popcorn as some of society's scum get whats coming to them.

Woofs Rating, 7/10

Its another Hooligan English movie but I was well impressed with it, and tracks the life of a minor thug in the 70s all the way up through the beginning of the dance scene to the major underground drug world of th mid 90s.

Very enjoyable and some top acting throughout.

8/10

Watched the film also good show, but was'nt there a film made ages ago called Essex Boys which was more aimed at the drug dealers ?

Yeah but this one was based on a true story, I thought it was much better than Essex boys.
