you don't know karate :D

and...

Ray: A lot of midgets tend to kill themselves. A disproportionate amount, actually. Hervé Villechaize off of Fantasy Island. I think somebody from the Time Bandits did. I suppose they must get really sad about like... being really little and that... people looking at them, laughing at them, calling them names. You know, "short :censored:". There's another famous midget. I miss him but I can't remember. It's not the R2D2 man; no, he's still going. I hope your midget doesn't kill himself. Your dream sequence will be :censored:.
Chlo: He doesn't like being called a midget. He prefers dwarf.
Ray: This is exactly my point! People going around calling you a midget when you want to be called a dwarf. Of course you're going to blow your head off.

Top book this and it looks like Kev Sampson has done his own book justice with the screenplay.

Last night I watched S Darko with my daughter ,to say this film is the worst ever made would be a gross injustice to the fabled turkeys who currently inherit that dubious mantle .
I consider Donnie Darko to be one of the finest cult films Ive seen to date ,so to say I was left disappointed by the sequel wouldnt be telling the full story ,the film is dross ,and the less said about the ending the better ..
I implore people not to waste their valuable time watching this baffling atrocity to film making :(

In Bruge was easily the best film of last year. That and a cartoon. It's one of those cult films now, I reckon.

I watched Wolverine about two weeks ago and it was a stinker. Really, I can't see how people thought this film was good. It was dreadful. Sure it had some good parts, but the screenplay was all over the f*cking place. Characters were dreadfully paper thin and one-dimensional, no more so than one of the most famous and popular X-Men; Gambit. It was criminal how this character was shamelessly written in as an aside. The whole thing was just cheap from start to finish and nowhere near as good as it should have been or anywhere near as good as the first two excellent X-Men films by Brian Singer.

4/10 for me.

4/10 for me.

I saw Wolverine the other day. I wouldn't say it was that bad but it wasn't that good either. My biggest criticism would be what you've picked up on - the other characters had no depth to them at all.

It's blatantly an attempt to start a whole series of origins movies, one for each character. I think their idea is that we see a glimpse of them in this and then go see a whole movie to find out who they are.

Instead characters seem to come and go quite quickly without us learning enough to care about them.

I'd give it 6/10. Ejoyable but hardly ground-breaking.
