This a list of films that Hollywood plans to remake.

God help us all, can they not just leave them alone

Most should not be touched on that list. I'd be in favor of a Westworld remake, but the one that stands out is Akira, though I seriously doubt they'd pull that one off. It needs a top class director for that to work. Ridley Scott or Speilberg would probably be the only two capable of getting it right for a live action.

Yeah Westworld would be alright as would Logan's Run

They touch the Birds, Evil dead or Near Dark and they deserve to burn in hades for it.

Though im surprised cult Near Dark or Aliens casts does a vampire movie is even remembered

Yeah I really enjoyed Pineapple Express, its a good laugh. I cant wait to see Zack and Miri make a porno.

Ive recently watched 21, Escape to Sobibor and Awake.

21 was not bad and had Kevan Spacy and Laurence Fishburne in it. A bit predictable at times it about card counting in Las Vegas by a collage student from Boston.    6.5/10

Escape from Sobibor is a true story about an escape from a Nazi Death camp during WW2. Originally made for TV it tells a very good story with some good acting. If you are into this type of movie it is well worth the watch.    8/10

Awake is about this young rich guy who has to go under a heart transplant in order to stay alive. This film just goes from Twist to twist and got a bit annoying in the end, still Jessica Alba is in it so that alone gets it an extra point  :D     5/10

I just seen Righteous Kill

To be honest it was a bit of a disappointment, the fact that it has De Niro and Al Pacino in it makes it sound brilliant before you have even watched it. The storyline had a bit of a DEXTER ring to it and there was nothing new that you haven't seen in hundreds of other films. If it had 2 normal guys in it playing the main role and not 2 Hollywood Heavyweights then I don't think this film would have made much of a ripple at all.

4/10

Just watched Resident Evil : Degeneration. I cannot put into words the dissapointment. I have been looking forward to this for a long time, wish I hadnt bothered. 6/10 for me, better than the films but the overall story just seems pointless.
