A man of the Muslim faith with an American background engineers explosives for the fanatical Muslims. While Guy Pearce (and FBI) is on his case trying to track him down. There is much more to it than just this, I liked this movie well worth a DL.

8/10

Thanks for the heads up, watched it last night Bam, certainly kept my attention. Loved the little twist with the "Bus Bombers" , must admit I didn't see it coming.  :D

7/10

Yeah, good film that one Woof.

I'm waiting for a decent copy of ... 'Body of lies' and 'Bangkok dangerous' with Nick cage. Its supposed to pretty good to.

P.s Woof, I'm glad you've finally rated/enjoyed something, your a hard b.ugger to please I wouldnt want to be your wife.  :D

Quantum of Solace was just :censored:.  What were they thinking, when they wrote that script?

Why do you guys bother to download films, when there are a ton of places online to stream them?

Watched "new" version last night but nodded off two thirds of the way through. I'll catch the rest later today.

Probably unfair to compare the cliche ridden remake with the grittier and imo far superior original as all the two films have in common is.

1,the story's set in Bangkok
2, it's ostensibly about an assassin

Cages' performance is strictly by the numbers and the films portrayal of Bangkok is purely for tourists only. Entertaining enough but only just.

A film I'm looking forward to seeing in the next few weeks is Che.
It's amazing just how close Benicio Del Toro resembles the man. He could almost be his brother.

Channel4 gave Che some awful reviews...as it is an awful film so my film correspendent tells me.

I recently saw Southland Tales. A delightful tale from the director of Donnie Darko. Completely insane tale of nuclear bombs, prostitutes, senators, miming, singing, arms dealing. It is either the best film ever made... or the worst.
