I've been saying it for a while, but it's by far the best thing on TV at the moment, with the potential to be one of the best ever. Judgeing by that last episode, it's one of those rare TV series that is well written and acted enough to have the power to completely gut you at any stage, just like all the best dramas do. I felt like I'd been kicked in the bollox when I watched that last night. Amazing show.

Ha  This is what I posted in What's on TV thread a couple of weeks ago.....


Watching Game of Thrones is like standing with your legs spread just waiting to be kicked in the bolls.  Don't get me wrong.  I love the show, but it's just one heartbreak after another.

I cant wait to see these 'white walkers' come into the story a bit more. I also expect to see that fecker jamie lannister lose his noggin next week after a good kickin from the Starks. Roll on Monday.

No way dude. Boardwalk Empire didn't live up to the hype.

Game of Thrones took a while to get going, but now that we know all the families. it has been top quality.

I haven't enjoyed a tv series as much as this since Lost.

The Wire is one of the most overrated things I've ever watched. It's good, but the way some people bang on about it, you'd think it was the be all and end all. It isn't. Breaking Bad, however - now you're talking. Possibly the most original crime drama that involves drug dealers and cops that I've ever seen. Blows The Wire out of the water IMO, so in that sense, it's the best thing on TV I've seen since Breaking Bad.

I really liked Boardwalk empire, but it isnt as gripping as game of thrones, after each episode ends i literally cant wait to see the next one, the last time i was gripped by a show like that was the first time i wathced The Wire, which IMO is the greatest television series ive ever watched, if anything tops that id be very suprised.
