International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

The Spanish press is already doing my head in.

I was wrong with Torres success in the premiership but at least I know to admit the success when I have it on front of my eyes.

The Madrid press are giving stíck him though, sayins he has scored one goal for SPain in one year, and that his game isn't the best option for us.

They always find ridiculous photos to publish aswell.

Torres has answered that it's him the one who has to adapt the Spanish game, no the other way around, but I'm just livid they don't give the lad some credit. Since their fúcking Raul isn't there, the press will nitpick all our strikers, I tell you.

Fúcking country. We won't ever win anything in football.

22.00 local time against USA.  (21.00 there)

Probable line up according to Marca: España: Casillas; Sergio Ramos, Puyol, Marchena, Capdevila; Xabi Alonso, Xavi, Cazorla, Cesc, Silva y Torres.

Everyone who says that understands about international football talk about Romania these days.

I don't know their players, but I feel like watching them play. Have they got a new Gica Hagi or something?

Portugal squad looks amazing on paper!
GKS
1 Ricardo »12 Quim »22 Rui Patrício
DEFENDERS
2 Paulo Ferreira »3 Bruno Alves »4 Bosingwa »5 Fernando Meira »13 Miguel »14 Jorge Ribeiro »15 Pepe »16 Ricardo Carvalho
MIDFIELDERS
6 Raul Meireles »8 Petit »10 João Moutinho »18 Miguel Veloso »20 Deco »
FORWARDS
7 Cristiano Ronaldo »9 Hugo Almeida »11 Simão »17 Ricardo Quaresma »19 Nani »21 Nuno Gomes »23 Hélder Postiga

A lot of world class talent in there,if they gel as a unit i think they will win the Euros!
I really hope not though, dont wanna see Ronaldo win anything else in his career!
