just wandered who is the most over-rated player you have ever seen play the game of football. i tell you what, we have quite a few of them at liverpool fc (no need to mention names). for me it has to be rio ferdinand. he wasn't worth 18m when he went to leeds and after a couple of decent games in the world cup he was supposedly suddenly worth 30m. who do you pick?

He is not good enough to be 1st choice England player, I'm surprised manure haven't bought a better full-back. I guess they are more concerned with throwing money at filling other positions

carragher or glen johnson should be given a go at right back. gary neville just stands there with his hand up trying to play offside half the time.

We've seen a few prima Donna's brought down a peg or two at the Euro's ............. Vierri, Raul, Henry(At int'l Level) , Beckham, Figo (had 1 good game), Del Piero, Totti, the list goes on ............ Over rated , over paid and no doubt over here cos it's the only league that can match their over inflated ego's with over nflated wages

Figo had a good Euro and got in the all star squad, although realistically he was only great in one game.

Totti was immense for Roma all season.

IMO they aren't over rated, same with Ronaldinho which someone said. He was brilliant for Barca all season.

Beckham has got to be up there along with Van Nistelrooy (he is good but not god like some ppl think).

Del Piero is another one and on Euro 2004 Seedorf, who was poor for Netherlands.

The Nevilles are well over-rated, if they weren't playing for ManU they would be rated by no-one.
