For what it is worth I heard that William Hill have actually suspending betting on Suarez to Arsenal. Maybe purely reactive to the SkyBet situation???

With Arsenal buying Higuain and already having Giroud Podolski and Walcott I cant see Suarez going to Arsenal

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

If they paid him the money possibly.

Suarez like 99% of football players are greedy they want the money. Apart from Gerrard there arent many players that are loyal nowadays and especially not Suarez.

Why should they be loyal? Suarez joins Liverpool fully expecting to be playing alongside Torres.Five minutes later he finds himself playing next to Andy Carroll. I'm not saying that was necessarily a bad thing but the point is that things change and not always for the better. It goes both ways if a club isn't happy with a player they sell him and if a player isn't happy with a club he leaves.Liverpool in recent years have failed to provide the platform to satisfy top flight players. Not sure that I would accuse Luis for being any more or less mercenary than the majority of top players. I have no problem with his desire to better himself.

I really doubt its for the money mate, he is 2 and a half seasons here and played the first one and a half for 35k a week.  obviously a silly amount to us but compared to what others were being paid it isnt.
More than likely its a combo of the media and F.A and possibly the lure of Madrid.
Im not ruling out the chance that he could just be a w*nker though  :D

I am resigned to Suarez going and I suspect our main deals are reliant on his departure.

If he stays and we still sign some of these top dogs then I will take every doubt I had about
FSG back with pleasure and we really will be on the march.

Just doubt it  :glare:

No truth in the Arsenal stories. However expect Chelsea to move for him. They want Cavani but not prepared to pay what Napoli are asking for (PSG the ones who seem to be getting the closest), so have turned their attention to Luis

who wouldnt change job for a 190% payrise   but that isnt the case here, He was on 35k then after a year and a half he got a raise to 100k+. He won't get much more than that at real.
I cant change your opinion but mine is that money is no where near the top of his list in seeking a transfer, or even his main focus in football.

i imagine a couple of clubs will wait until the very last min to make a bid and force our hand.

What we need to do is sit Luis down and tell him he can go and we'll help him move to a club of his preference, but NEXT summer. That way we keep him for one more season and we also get 12 months to find a club and agree a deal.

I am 100% certain interested clubs will wait until the last minute before window closes to force down the price. Liverpool must learn their lesson from the Torres, Owen and McManaman and the subsequent panic buy saga. What the club's doing is good. Give him 2 weeks off to think about his future, if he still insist on leaving, then submit a transfer request otherwise gracefully come back and fight for next season's qualification for CL.
