Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

Suarez, Masher, Tevez are all the same - poorly educated, cocky Argentines/Uruguayans who say and do the first thing that comes into their heads. They're not the brightest lights on the christmas tree and they don't realise nor care they upset people. They're after the single thing their families have never had and will never have again - money. They're not middle class europeans, they're pure uneducated mercenary. We recognise their limitations, hence buy out clauses reflecting that they're more likely than not, to do something stupid. Lets move on.

putting in a transfer request will be the last thing they want to do, luis and his agent want a piece of the massive transfer fee, they`ve probably waited his whole career for a huge money move like this.
they`ll probably pocket about £5m, not bad for a `quote` loyalty bonus `unquote`.
makes you f##king laugh doesnt it?

It might be the last this they want ycsat BUT (imo) if it's a move the Suarez camp really want's I'm sure they'll ensure his contract and future earnings will more than make up for any shortfall incurred due to him losing his "loyalty" bonus, the game plan would be for him to go as cheap as possible, monies saved in the transfer fee would maybe go towards his personal signing on fee.

Just a thought  :eyebrow

a strategy designed to see the reds supposedly abandon hope of receiving the full remuneration as stipulated in his contract.

Anyone who would happily admit to the FA to calling someone Negrito is naive in the extreme ,I'm sorry but Suarez makes Keegan look equipped
for Mensa..... We will soon find out Suarez's true intentions when he is requested to hand in a formal transfer request.

Honestly Red, I think his "advisors" have had a word. That's the long and short of it.

Regardless of Suarez' eligibility for Mensa and the seemingly incessant controversy about his time in the premiership there's people around him (yer know, like Agents and family) that figure a move to sunnier climes wouldn't hurt their bank balance or lifestyle.

Maybe Suarez is on board with this or maybe he's too thick to understand the manipulation. Personally I'm struggling to believe that anyone is that thick, Suarez imo knows the state of play.

If LFC play hardball about selling, which hopefully we do, it wouldn't surprise me to see a formal transfer request submitted.

Hopefully it doesn't happen but I'm deffo not betting on it.

He's going woof ,for me there is no grey area encroaching that ,but he is also obviously quite easily manipulated mate .
Suarez is obviously more than a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic ,so like you say Agents ,family and especially the
media can bend him as easily as Morph right now.

Its just those people who believe that he could devise such a master plan under his own volition are affording him way
too much credit. Suarez is thick ,he continually talks about his rough upbringing like it gives him licence to be a total
***** on the field ...... Its like me addressing a court  with the words "of course I shot him ,I was brought up in
Toxteth what did he expect "  :D

i dont think suarez is quite as thick as people are making out, for a start he can speak fluent dutch which apparently is very hard to learn and he can speak decent english too.
if i was asked to describe someone who can speak 3 languages i dont think thick would be the first word that would spring to mind.

I wouldn't call him thick as well - he knew what he was doing when trying to get a move to Ajax and I'm sure his agent won't also be thick.

They are playing a game we have all seen before

Even though, I would expect anyone to have a good understanding of the language if they lived there for 5 years ,incidentally most clubs employ a tutor
with the specific task of learning foreign players the language. I suspect his English whilst being rudimentary at present will become as fluent as his Dutch
after spending two years with the reds........ Even Beckham learnt Spanish ffs ,but I hear he struggled with American  :;):

trust me mate Luis is not the full shilling .

He is the full shilling, a Uruguayan shilling, not the Queen's shilling. That's what I said at the top of the page.

Stereotype much? dont see what there backgrounds have do with anything, Suarez wants to leave because he wants to play at the top level, which we are no longer a part of

Too be honest it sounds like Cavani is Real Madrid’s number one choice to replace Higuain so unless Benzema is also leaving Real may not even make a move for Suarez.

If the agent makes 10% then they stand to lose millions themselves. Difference between 50 million and 30 million is 2 million to the agent. I am sure those blood sucking vultures want a high price, in spite of his personal terms.

Cavani is also wanted by both City and Chelsea

That's how I sounded trying to speak to kitchen workers when I managed a Bar/ restaurant .  "Why are they trying to pull cold chicken out of a drain pipe"... "Because that's what you told them to do Senor"
s@int - 13 December 2009

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.
