Ridiculous ban all the same.

Better still we could loan him to a club in the preliminary rounds of the Europa league next season.  Ban would be served by the start of August

Suarez: 10 games for a bite.
Defoe: yellow card for a bite.

Over it.

You can pretty much guarantee our schedule will start next season like it did this season.  I'm sure in those first 6 games we will have united at home, and at least 2 or even 3 of arsenal, chelsea, spurs, city or everton.

10 f*cking games?! Jesus Christ he should have just called him a white Serbian kunt or something. Heck, even an elbow to the head or a headbutt would have been better. This is all but fairness and justice.

4 games until the end of the season plus 6 games to conveniently f*ck up our start in the next season. Anyone still saying that there is no agenda against us or Suarez is totally deluded.

Sadly I knew something like this was on the cards. To be honest, I rather we didn't appeal and just accept it. If it was a case where Luis had been provoked or something directly at the time, I would probably go ahead and appeal, but the truth is Luis has let himself and the club down here and I think long term it's better we just accept it and get on with it and avoid another media circus with us appealing. Also been hearing we are planning some kind of support Suarez day against Everton - again don't think this is a great idea. The best thing we can do is work with Luis to make sure he understands what he did is unacceptable and can't happen again and accept the punishment that is dished out and just get on with planning for next season. Luis has been amazing this season but now it's time for the other lads to step up and show people we are not a one man team

Wow 10 games! This is absurd! Shocking to say the least. 5 was already overdoing it but 10?

Realization : We must prepare for a life without Luis Suarez.

mickey mouse of an organisation that F.A is   bunch of racist fookers.
10 matches for licking someones arm is a disgrace  :nod . i could understand it if he had of actually taken a lump out of him but for slobber  :no .
without a shadow of a doubt they have an agenda against suarez and they should be taken to task by the club for it.
the F.A will not be happy till they force the lad out of the country

So with Ayre in charge we'll definitely be appealing and getting it extended then, because that chap has his finger firmly on the pulse.

I think 10 games is fairly lenient for a repeat offender, remember that he also boasted about cheating earlier in the season, which he was not punished for, stuff like that tends to stick in the memory. I was expecting 20 games.

in any case its irrelevant he'll definitely be sold in the summer now and yes I am happy about that, because he's an embarrassment to the badge.

The amount of games banned is way over the top but Suarez did just "lick" his arm FFS

He was unprovoked and bit another player and it was with intent.

We have just got to accept it as it is and avoid further embarrassment IMO. I know 10 is really harsh but what do we appeal on the basis of? Everything is already out there and was out there before the FA made its judgement.

We need to look for a replacement in the summer and unfortunately replacing Luis Suarez may as well take up all our transfer budget. Sigh :(

Oh, and don't ask me to stand by Suarez. He didn't stand by any of us when he purposefully bit another player.

I'd be willing to bet that in the explanation by the FA the words "previous disciplinary actions" will be included in the reasoning for the length of the ban.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

well he certainly didnt take a lump out of him either benny, in fact if he had a visible injury then the police would have got involved and they didnt so what does that tell you.
there was no bite, not even evidence of a bite, just licking and slobbering and there isnt a shred of evidence in the public domain to prove a bite had actually taken place so stop carrying on like the lad lost an ounce of flesh when he never even came close to it.

The police did get involved and Ivanovic was the one who didnt want to press charges

The pictures and video are pretty conclusive that Suarez bit the player hence why the club disciplined him and why they accepted the charges.
