the classic "are you a manc?" argument. :help

Tell you what RedAnt, and anyone foolish enough to believe this horsesh*t fairytail:

Anyone with a brain in there head after the sh*tstorm that this club has went through the last last 2 months BY SUPPORTING YOU UNEQUIVOCALLY shakes the mans hand and gets on with the game. A moron does what he did today, knowing that the eyes of the world were going to be on him and that we will now be in for weeks of more negative publicity for football club. You can manufacture all the reasons and conspiracy theories you want guys about the Supervillain Patrice Evra and his overload Count Alex Ferguson, the spin of the media and the ulterior motives of the FA but if you just look at the entire debacle with an ounce of objectivity, instead of those giant Dennis Taylor sized rose tinted spectacles you can see what is staring you in the face. SUAREZ BLANKED EVRA. You dont have to condone this act, but if you are going to construct an alternate explanation just to fit your agenda then sorry, you are in the wrong, and whats more it makes you no better than those in the media and supporters of other clubs that you show so much contempt for.

dude, you really don't get it do you. Suarez was wronged. The only mistake we have made, in my eyes, is not appealing, but there is a greater conspiracy there. If I had been Suarez, and seen that smug look on Evras face as we went to shake hands, I'd be in handcuffs now.

Hope shreeves gets banned from anfield.

The way i heard this was KK saying he wasn't aware that Suarez had refused to Shake Evra's hand.
When shreeves said, he did refuse, KK said, thats contrary to what ive been told.

i.e Evra refused to shake Suarez's, not the other way around

I didnt hear KK say he thought he did shake his hand.

No Daws YOU BELIEVE Suarez was wronged. While I dont think there was enough evidence in that hearing to conclusively prove him guilty it certainly doesnt prove that he's innocent either the evidence is ambiguous. Irregardless of what happened he served his ban and today was an opportunity to gain some positive press -  Liverpool Football Club have tarnished their image in the defense of this man, so the very least he could do was to shake the guys hand and get on with the f*cking game. But he just couldnt do that he had to get on like a prissy, spoiled c*nt.

It's hard to make a judgment about his refusal to shake Evra's hand independently of the racism affair. Those who took a more sympathetic view of his treatment in that case will tend to be more understanding, and vice versa. If you took a more sympathetic view of his case, you have to ask whether you would shake the hand of a person you considered to have stitched you up in the way that Suarez believes he was by Evra. Otherwise, you are likely to think it outrageous, as the Manc's obviosly do as well as much of the media.

The alternative is to take the pragmatic view that irrespective of his guilt or innocence vis-a-vis the racism charge, it was better to avoid any further controversy by simply shaking his hand and getting on with the game in the spirit of moving on.

Personally, I'm not particularly a'rsed that he didn't shake Evra's hand but would have preferred that he did so as to avoid the media storm that has and will undoubtedly follow, for the sake of the club more than any one individual.

not just daws mate,i believe he was wronged also.
obviously luis feels the same.why cant you get that?.
if he didnt want to shake his hand then he did right by not doing so.its his right accept that.

evra showed his true colors at the end of the match and is testament to the type of charachter he is.

Man U get the upper hand or soemthing in a similar vein to crawl up 'sir' Fergies a$$.

I'd personally go for Suarez refuses to shake hands with dirty c*nt who cheated and lied... but I don't think that'd make it

Whatever, people know now there is mroe to this than simple racism (if racism is ever simple) There are 2 reasons for the handshake incident:

1: Suarez is sooo racist he refuses to shake hansd with people of color (even though he IS people of colour)

2: Suarez ain't happy about how things have happened.

hint: It ain't 1

i think you've hit the nail on the head....personally i want the club to move on and away from the whole sorry saga. But that wont happen now and tomorrow we'll see a whole load more of negative headlines and press about our beloved club.

I'm also worrying about Kenny's ability to prove his leadership in a crisis....today we saw him crack and it's not encouraging.  Hopefully a run of wins will silence the critics and let us talk about football, and not bulls!te off the field antics
