They are taking so long because they are knob ends and havent got a clue how to sort it.
They would love to be able to ban him for making a racist remark. This would fit in with their Kick it out campaign and show them to be anti-racism big time. Problem is its not as simple as Terrys case. They have now got to find SOME way to come out of this looking as if they know what theyre doing.
Thats the Fu*king biggest concern right there. They are fu'cked no matter what they do.
Lets hope they dont try to make an example of him to convince people they are serious. Thats the biggest danger.

Correct result. admit cultural differences that need to be respected, particularly when living and working in a third country and bl**dy well grow up and stop acting like kids.

I think they are taking their time because they want to seem to be considering the matter. Given the evidence we know of, logically the outcome would be not guilty, but that Suarez is sent on some 'cultural awareness' bollox course. Any more than this and then, in this ridiculous PC world, it would become racist against Suarez because his cultural and ethnic sensibilities would have been ignored. Then he will get the book thrown at him for the finger gesture.

I think Suarez will get done and banned as reports suggest hes admitted to using the word 'negro' toward Evra.

Despite cultural differences it would be difficult to argue he did not understand that using this word in England would cause offence and so I should imagine he will have to take the punishment.

Its a mess really but if we try and put loyalties aside you just have to be better than that and the lad will have to learn.

You cant justify it but just wish it wasnt Evra involved thats all as he will be grinning like a cheshire cat and just hope I am wrong.

I've said it before, we all know what will happen. Suarez will be found guilty and John Terry will be let off. Suarez will be the scapegoat.

The reason its dragging on is because Suarez has a good case for himself. The FA need more time to gather evidence they can use against him, and if they don't? Well, they will probably charge him anyway.

The FA went out of their way to reduce Wayne Rooney's ban, do you not think they will do the same for for John Terry?

Word is that the FA have already sent the police a letter say that Terry is a man of "outstanding character" and a role model for young kids.

Well I fail to see the problem? I mean he is after all.
What ever happened to free speech? You can end up in court for saying a single word, even if its used in the correct context.

Negro means the color black in both Spanish and Portuguese languages, how can he be punished for using his own language.
Did evra not realise he was black untill he was informed? If someone called me white could I get them charged?

I agree.. Negro literally means black.  It's not racist to call somebody black.  Just like evra called Suarez South American.  Him calling Suarez South American is basically the same thing as Suarez calling him black.

maybe its down to the lack of understanding of foreign cultures and languages by some of the relics on the fa board.
spanish speaker says "hombre negro" ,english speaker says "black man" theres no difference and most importantly not a crime.
i think this case refers to a different term "negrito" which apparently is a term of endearment in uruguay,meaning " little black man".again not a crime.

The word "Nigger" is derived from the word Negro.

Whilst the word Negrito may by acceptable in Uruaguay we're not in Uruaguay and Suarez should have known better, it's not like he arrived in Europe last week.
Outside of south america calling a black person "negrito" is bound to cause offence.
