Couldnt agree more, you wait nearly 3 months to kick off and you get an international after the 1st game, i do love watchin england and follow them and back them all the way but the timing of these friendlys is poor  :no

:censored: England all over - LFC is my team. I am English, and I'm patriotic, but FFS - a friendly at this time is b*llocks. At the end of the day, Liverpool pay our players wages, so all Internationals can p*ss off. If they want friendlies, they should place them better. F*ck you, Eriksson, you t*at.

friendlys are just extra matches for players to be injured in.

But they are nice when you see liverpool players playing international football.

Nah, DN1F, international friendlies are a pile of sh*te. The only point is to try new ideas/systems/players/methods. (Which is fair enough.)But all Sven Goran C*ntinson does is give cr*p players a run out. Utter b*llocks players such as Beattie.

Im as Patriotic as the next Englishman ,and i do love watching England play.

But i have to admit Sven Goran errection is a poor manager .The bloke in my opinion needs a rocket up his ar$e ,he has a talented squad at his disposal but they never seem to fill there potetial. He seems to encourage the long (Chelsea) ball tactics, and therefor i usually feel baffled or subdued after watching some of the performances.
Plus he is as dull as dishwater.
Yes, the timing of it aswell is about as much welcome as a kick in the goolies.

it is such a bad timing to play the friendly in the midst of the premiership.

I wish England would find a new manager, cause they won't win any tournaments with him in charge.  Sure they'll do well based on the talent but he just doesn't seem to have a good grasp of giving the team the tactical edge that we need to go that extra little step.  I think Robbie Fowler said England will never win the world cup with Sven in charge.  I totally agree.

With EVERYONE else on this, i love the buzz of major tournamnets and even sometimes championship qualifiers.
But friendlies are a waste of time and energy, i worry that one of the players will get injured playing in a game that helps nobody.
If eriksson had the right attitude and approached the games properly then i could understand the logic, but he changes the line up that much that it descends into a farce that is CR@P to watch and that i end up praying for Liverpool players to be substituted.
Another F.A ballsup !

Alan Smith has told Sven where to go for this game tomorrow, he said he prefers to play for manure reserves, and good on him, friendly waste of time, weve got a busier sqeduel than any of them.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.
