you're not wrong, had an awfulgame.

was surpriesed how well heskey played, he didnt score but played a big part. owens finish was tasty but it was a match we were always gonna win so doesnt tell us anything. Wednesday is the big one and dip$hit mclaren blew his gerard wad too early

Ireland are sh*te.

England looked better than I've seen them in a long time. I always thought that Beckham was a liability although the hype machine convinced many here that he was part of the best midfield in the world with lampard, SG and a right footed Joe Cole.

I thought SWP gave England pace on the right wing which they haven't had in many years, he can dribble too which helps for a winger!

Also thought Barry played well, just made simple passes to an England player who was in a better position. Should defo be given a chance to establish himself ahead of Lampard.

MUCH more balance in the midfield. That team will qualify for Euro 2008.

I don't agree that it was a game England were always going to win, they already drew earlier in the group and have drawn with France (home and away) in qualifiers for World cup.
