That one. Absolutely ridiculous. Should have been called off.

Not suggesting they'll win it but Man City are looking increasingly menacing, they demolished CSKA last night.

I think Real and Bayern will fight it out.

You could be right, bookies make Bayern outright favourites (13/5) with Barcelona (9/2) and  Madrid (11/2) as possible CL final opponents.

But at (currently) 16/1 I might just chance a tenner on City.

Too inconsistent in my book, I think they'll crumble in the knock out stages.

Group stages have become a joke.  Far too many useless sides in them groups.

arsenal v bayern and city v barca  :wwww  and as per usual manure get it easy against olympiakos  :oh:
might be bad  news for us if both arsenal and city exit as they can focus on the league run in without that distraction

TBH I reckon Manure will be beaten. Olympiakos has a striker who has been on fire this season. 4 or 5 hat-tricks already at club and international level.

4 games and 4 away wins

Bayern,Barca and Psg look certanties to progress and Ath madrid win in italy is very respectable.

Couldn't find a thread for the UEFA cup, so just adding here, Konoplyanka seems to be playing well against Totsh1te. Running rings on the left wing, though haven't been watching the whole match. He scored the penalty, but almost scored a couple more and setup others as well. Dnipro win 1 nil. Did anyone watch the whole game, how was he overall 90mins?

I watched the city and arsenal games and both ended up boring non events, Barcelona in particular were excruciating to watch second half, they just passed the ball sideways and backwards for half an hour, at one point it even had me pining for the old Wimbledon days, they were abysmal to watch but at least there were wild tackles and plenty of goalmouth action, give me a good prem game any day of the week.

I agree with you on the Barcelona game but Bayern were constantly attacking.
