too right, all of them should come home IMO. If we had any of our players there I'd be going spare right now. No way would I think I was safe if I was there. Come home, feck the cup

easy for you to say

if they did cancel it, how many other events will be plagued with the same things? world cup? Olympics? CL final? FA Cup? everything would be targetted

The tournament has to go on.

ok, if you say so. Even thought there has never been any major incident at any other previous tournament. You ever though that these " terrorists" might like football too?  :D i doubt any one would want the world cup cancelled

Each event will be assessed in its own right, but make no mistake -- any event of magnitude is a potential target for terrorists. We've seen it at the olympics, we've seen in it cricket, we've now seen it hit a major football tournament.

Cancelling the tournament would be a boon to the perpetrators' cause, but avoiding that publicity boost is far from sufficient basis to justify its continuation. What ought to be the decisive factor is the risk of another attack and the feelings of the participants.

good point, they shouldnt just cancel it but take into accounts the safety of the teams, officials and fans before making a decision. What the hell was the team bus doing driving through a notorious disputed zone for anyway! who roganised this mess
