I think Rooney's performance against Fenerbache has been overrated, Fenerbache are currently weak and even Heskey could had a hat-trick against them.

I want to say Rooney get a hat-trick in the Premiership if he can.

I want to say Rooney get a hat-trick in the Premiership if he can.

and when he does ab,youll want to see him score a hat trick at international level,then on a world cup stage,then a world cup final....and it STILL wont be enough. His Ot debut was tremendous ffs,the pressure,price tag, on his young shoulders,and he handled it well. Open your eyes and not your heart.

dont be silly. I dont Know how many goals he scored for everton,around 10-12,but he was their youngest ever goal scorer and also englands youngest ever goal scorer and also englands top goal scorer in euro 2004.

In order to be a world class player you must be able to perform for the club in the league, european tournaments and world cup. Example: Ronaldo. He was brilliant for Inter Milan in Seria A, Champions League,UEFA Cup and amazing for Brazil. Thats a world class player, he scored countless hat-tricks.

Scoring one hat-trick in his career doesn't make Rooney a world class player no matter how young he is. He has still yet to learn such as scoring more goals than recieving yellow cards.

He was average against Middlesborough. Put Rooney against an average or solid defence and he won't score a hat-trick in the Premiership.

Well so far hes performed in the Champions league albeit one game but did very well and the european championships and his league career with us is just beginning.
I dont agree with this "world class " thing .I believe youre either good enough to play in any team or youre not. Youre own John Barnes was no hit with England but I still believe he was awesome and could have played in any team in the world.Same for Henry-he hasnt impressed me on any major stage...but he could also play in any team on the planet.
Wayne rooney will have stiff competition for goals here,and if he cant score 3...2 will do

False, Henry couldn't play on any team on the planet. Henry is a great player in English football but he wouldn't be the same kind of player in the Bundesliga or in the Seria A.

In order for Rooney to be a World Class player he should be able to have good performances in every competion. Example: Pele,Ronaldo,Henry,etc..
