F*ck it, i'm more in debt than ever. Every time I get close to paying off a loan I get a bigger one to pay off the old one/overdraft/cards and buy something nice. Then I build up the overdraft/cards again. When I was earning 30k a year 10 years ago i spent it all, now I'm on a lot less... I spend it all.
I eat well, drink well.. so f*ck it... what's the worst that can happen

The crisis hasn't affected me so far.

I'd like to make a question. I see that crisis are of cyclical nature.

I also believe that like in the energy, which is never destroyed but transformed, money is something similar. My question, who do you think that makes himself rich, while everybody else lose money in the crisis?

This credit crunch is doing my nut in. I decided to emigrate to Canada in the 2007 summer. The international exchange at the time was over $2.10 to the pound and my house was worth around £215,000. Since then, and a credit cruch later, I've lost at least £30K off the value of the house and the pound is sitting at around $1.80 CAD. All in all, it's looking like costing me £40K to £50K - that's a spicy meatball. That said, it's money I've never actually had and my heart goes out to those who are losing their jobs/savings/homes etc.

not having morgage, car repayments, loan repayments or a proper job (i'm freelance and flexible before any dole dosser jibes start!) i haven't seen much effect just yet. living in spain but banking in england means that i actually have more pounds in the bank for every euro i earn at the moment.

the problem is that all my work is connected to the arts - and that is always one of the first areas to get hit with cuts when money is tight.

Its been fantastic DD

As a government worker Ive watched petrol prices drop by a third , grocery prices have gone down, house interest rates are now down. All these foreign workers from abroad and rest of Oz who came to the west for mining boom, they are now disappearing meaning less strain on environment, police services medical and other public service infrastructure

Yay for the recession

At the age of 33 I've reached the conclussion that art means "anything".

The other day I was in an exposition of art in my town and there were similar things to this

And you wonder. If this is art, then I can be an artist perfectly.

the whole credit crunch thing is a right B@st@rd. i'm a financial adviser specialising in mortgages and business has almost ground to a halt. i never did any of the sub-prime stuff that has caused all the problems, but i'm suffering the fallout from all the greedy tw.ats who did. i'm also self-employed so i have no basic salary to rely on.

but me & my business will manage and when all the dark clouds have blown over most of our competition will be gone. but in the meantime it is getting a bit scary to say the least, as mrs woolly is still on statutory maternity pay and i have her & 2 kids to house/clothe/feed. not much fun at all  :(
