Liverpool Football Club - Games

Sadly football is broken, corrupted by money, corrupted by people outside our country with whom we have nothing in common.

The days when I stood in long queues to pay 75p to stand on the Kop have gone forever. Tickets for the City game were going at £1,600 both in the City end and away end. Referees in the Premier League earn up to £1,500 pounds per game + a base salary of over £100,000 a year when the players around them earn more than that a week. What if the ref is offered half a million to ensure Liverpool don't win. Would that coke snorting, peado, Klopp-hater Coote have taken it? Draw your own conclusions.

Football is in intensive care, being attacked from all sides by empire makers in FIFA and UEFA, greedy owners, greedy agents pushing wages through the clouds etc.. Fans have become global and travel from all points on earth to see a game. And what can or should a club do... except jump on the bandwagon or forever be left behind. It's a drug, you're damned if you go with it and damned if you try to resist it.

Liverpool are successful, FSG are good owners, but do I like where they have contributed to lead football over the last 5 years. No freakin' way.

Howard Webb says 'not unreasonable' to rule out Virgil van Dijk header

If he thought it wasn’t a goal he would have said it wasn’t a goal, not that *****. Sky just let him set the narrative as ridiculous as it is without anyone pushing back. He said the Silva one last year was not offside but the VVD was offside. With authority he said “oh they are completely different”

Howard Webb, the VAR refs and the refs on the field - they're all mates. There's no demarcation between the people nor their roles, they all swap hats and have one golden rule: never disagree with a mate. They need to create a separate structure for VAR and on field refs. German refs VAR our games, our refs VAR their games. VAR and on field refs shouldn't meet eachother, shouldn't know eachother. It's prison guards and prisoners swapping roles once a week.

I think that is about it, they back each other up and don’t want to take away a fellow referee’s livelihood, just like they probably all knew Coote was how he was. It’s about accountability though, referees have a duty to referee correctly or they should be replaced by someone that will. When you watch these ex refs on tv defending their mates it’s so transparent and you can see the defensiveness in their face. It took someone seceretly filming Coote then posting it for anyone to have known, I’m sure the refs knew though.

On Coote, we all knew he wasn’t reffing fairly with us, and when we lost because of him the country and fellow supporters  would make fun of anyone that was blaming the ref as whining. As it happens he was not reffing fairly with Liverpool and that is now proven, so those supporters that could see the obvious bias were proven correct. I think we can say about both referees that officiated the City match, Micheal Oliver and Kavanagh are biased against Liverpool, and if not anti Liverpool then certainly pro City.
