Liverpool Football Club - Games

The main benefit of running less was less injuries like last season. However at this point it looks like it was coincidental and we just got lucky last season, we have the same low intensity this season as well yet we have plenty of injuries. Lower intensity is maybe worth it if it constantly results in less injuries but it seems that those two things are not always related.

The mistakes weren't made before this match, they were made before the season started. We opted for less running and a smaller squad (plus sold our best grafters), whereas Arsenal opted to keep their level of intensity but added more players to fill in for the ones that would get injured. They did the right thing and we did not. IMO the whole concept will now need to change if we want to get back into competing again.
