We helped Brighton squeeze more from Chelsea for Caicedo and they helped Soton squeeze more from us for Lavia. They started this though. But none of this would have happened had Edwards still been here.

Hmmm seems the Lavia to Chelsea stories are breaking at the moment. Don't know how much truth is in them but if he goes there, we really will have been left with egg on our face imo. To be honest I'm not enjoying how public this whole thing has been played out. We usually conduct our business under the radar and efficiently. This has been the complete opposite.

Sangare is no where near good enough to play for us. I hope they are fake and he goes to PSG. The prem isn't for him imo.

Disappointed over Lavia tbh. We handled it badly and undid all the work Klopp would have done to get him to commit to us. Caiceido's comments after he signed for them proved he was never going anywhere else. Seems Hogan was running that one but wish we never got involved tbh without speaking directly with the player. They have new owners willing to spend, they offer long contracts, have a new manager so the overall prospects when weighed up might just appeal more to the players.  What's done is done I suppose but its what we do now that counts.

Think that changes the chavs outlook this season for sure. That's a hell of a mid on paper anyway and could prove to be the difference in top 4. If they work out I can't see much getting past them.

Utter embarrassment both of these alleged signings. I can only imagine how livid Klopp must be. We're going to be scraping the barrel with the lines of Bajcetic, Jones (I cringe when I see him play), Thiago (when he's off the treatment table, that is) and fark knows who else

The Villa lad and Doucoure would be my choice from that list. Neither team will want to sell at this stage though.
