Despite his age (31) I'd take Tevez in a heartbeat.

Still shows the kind of desire and application displayed by Suarez and has bags of previous premiership experience. Would be a definite upgrade on the likes of Ballotelli, Borini and Lambert all rolled into one.

I always wanted Tevez to play for us. I would love him to play for us. Probably he would give us a few years due to his age but at this rate we need experienced class player who can make us challenge. Once were in the champs league or are showing signs of aspirations then we can lure top talent. At this rate these experienced  stop gap buys will do.

Didn't Tevez leave because he couldn't stand the weather? He is too young to give up on CL football and fair weather...

Tevez would cost a bomb in terms of salary and at 31, would probably be after a 3-4 year contract. Can't see this one happening. Actually think Lacazette would be the ideal striker for us however that boat sailed a long time ago and now he will be off to one of the big boys (looks like PSG are close to getting a deal done for him)

Most people bag Ings but want Vietto. Ings scored 1 less goal than him.
But you know, Vietto plays abroad...

Milner and Ings wont ease the appetite at Anfield.

FSG talk tough but buy safe and use clever PR, the spin machine, to paper over the cracks.

An extremely ambitious newly promoted side could easily make these signings and we wouldn't bat an eyelid.

As parchpea said if Ings would have went to a Leicester or Hull instead of us no one would have batted an eyelid, Vietto on the other hand is on the verge of joining Atletico.

Ings might become the next big thing in time. Sadly time isn't something BR has.

Yeah, I agree. I've been banging on about Tevez for years. Actually, I'd wished we'd got him at the same time as Masher way back, but no such luck.
Yes, he's maybe getting on a bit, but we need something NOW, to improve our chances in the short term, so that we can attract the players which will help us build for the future.

With Alves signing a new contract at Barcelona it surely means Martin Montoya will move on ?
