Jeez, can't a man make a comment without being jumped on?

Not when you're effectively having a go at one of our best players for playing to his strengths and playing intricate, attacking football with vision, quality and speed.
Occasionally he loses the ball, so what? He's an absolutely outstanding player who contributes a hell of a lot to the way we play. I'd rather he lost the ball trying to be positive than just get it and do what Lucas does every time he gets it.

Then by that definition, Moses is a positive player as well![]()
Jokes aside, I just wanted to point out a few of his flaws. I mean, come on, you can't tell me that his shooting isn't absolutely horrible. I'm not for a minute suggesting that he's a bad player. On the contrary, he's one of our best. I just wanted to bring up a few points about him that haven't been discussed.

End of last season he was breathtaking at times and built up a brilliant understanding with Sturridge. Him and Suarez want to occupy a lot of the same space at times. He's wasted out wide as he's always looking to cut in and be more central.

He has the potential but he's still very young and needs as many first team football playtime as possible to build up his full potential. So in the meantime, we have to put up with his learning curve.

You are an idiot! End of!
"Put up with his learning curve"?
You're making it sound as if he's not our second best player!![]()

Behave yourself...
When him and Suarez are in the same side linking up we look far better. He's a large part of the reason we've scored 19 goals in our 6 games... and 17 in 4 before the last two.
His passing, movement and intelligence creates so much space. Unfortunately against the better sides you need more than two good players to create chances.

I agree with st Michael... Coutinho and sturridge compliments each other better because sturridge is more direct. That's not to say that coutinho and Suarez couldn't play together but the reason we're scoring so many goals is more to do with Suarez's brilliance than the partnership between the 2. I think Henderson has assisted Suarez more than coutinho. But I wouldn't criticize coutinho as much as others on here. The team is definitely better with him than without. But his best position I believe is as AM in centre and when he is allowed to dictate the play...
