The Premiership - General Discussion

Haven't seen the Chelsea pen decision but everyone on Sky and BBC is saying it was soft.

Chelsea aren't a great side imo.  I'd fancy Man City and Arsenal at least to finish above them.  And depending on injuries possibly us too.

Ramires and McAuley collided and Ramires fell. It was a normal duel where Ramires ended up second best but was awarded a penalty. Shouldn't have been given IMO.

Haven't seen the pen decision .  What are you lads thinking/ hoping for in tomorrow's Arsenal v Scum match?  I'm torn.  I'm hoping for a nil nil with lots of injuries :p

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

a draw is the best result for us tomorrow but it doesnt really matter that much, what is certain is that either one or both of our rivals are going to drop points tomorrow.

I actually want Arsenal to win. I want them to win the title actually. I might be one of the few who believe that we can make it in the top 4 this season, but I'm not that optimistic to say that we can push for the title ourselves, and I'd rather have Arsenal win it than any other of our rivals. It would be excellent if they can do us a few favors in the process, like beating the mancs tomorrow and any other rival of ours that comes in their way. They will benefit both us and themselves.

Really bad decision, it was obvious even in real-time that Ramires was playing for it - never, ever a penalty and Ramires should have seen yellow.

You would have to question Marriner on multiple levels after that decision, 4 minutes into stoppage time.

It was actually Steven Reid but the nethertheless never a penalty. For Mourinho to then say it was a deffo pen then he loses alot of respect. Managers have come out in the past saying pens were awarded to their teams wrongly and I think Mourinho should have said the same.

Really glad we didn't lose against Newcastle. And Tim Krul was always my third choice as a replacement for Reina :D.

Yep, looks like a great weekend for us. What a game though, the Sunderland one. I could feel the atmosphere from 2000 miles away. Amazing back to the wall defending by the players too.

Have to laugh at Spurs though...some were heralding their transfers as the making of a title challenging side. Yet, they look like a bunch of overhyped strangers. Am so glad we never bought Sigurdsson, he's poor, poor, poor.
