An FA cup? League cup? 4th place? Or a Europa league place?
I think 4th place, and 4th place only is the minimum requirement for Rodgers to stay. Reason, if we dont get 4th Suarez will def be gone, and we wont be able to attract any big names.
To me that is a disastrous scenario.
Im not gonna say sack the manager, but should he automatically go if no 4th place or trophies, bearing in mind the knock on effect.
what do you all think is minimum requirement this season.?

I've stopped really looking at minimum requirements for the time being personally. We've had some low times recently so anything that looks promising enough to haul us out of them is fine with me - I will say I'm looking at the top 4 this season but whether we get it or not is a big ask. Rodgers has us playing some of the best stuff in recent years and I don't go into matches thinking we'll mess it up and surrender a lead or simply just lie down and get beat. This is a side where I see genuine comardarie with fight in them. I don't see why we're contemplating sacking the man

Honestly, I think most of us would accept that under Rodgers we've been playing some good footy . Still some questions to be asked about a fella that's still making his way in the top flight BUT if we fail to make the top four we have to ask is it really just down to HIM ?
We don't have (or the owners are no longer prepared to provide) the silly money other clubs are splashing out on "star" signings . The way we've been playing if we fail to make the top four I'd say the reason lies far deeper than Brendan's management.
Maybe instead we should be asking " what's FSG's vision for the future of Liverpool FC ?"

Our first 11 is looking pretty decent but the squad doesn't match up to last year's top 4 and it doesn't match up to Spurs either. I'll be kissing Brendan's feet if he can get LFC back into the Champions League with the limited backing he has received from this lot.

Last season BR was the first manager to ever have a "free" season - it was a poor result in the league and cups by any standards. We cannot have the same again this season and BR can't hide behind the owners.
