Moreno shocking? That's harsh. He's been far better than most of our defenders and has shown a lot of promise, especially going forward. He's only 20 aswell. As for Markovic, he's 20 and learning a new league whilst essentially playing out of position. He needs time. Only a year ago people were saying the same about Sterling (he's too lightweight, needs to be loaned out or sold etc).
We were in for Sanchez and he essentially turned us down for the "appeal" of London.
Harsh on Moreno? You have to be joking? St Michael, we already had left back, and a bloody good one too. To then spend twelve million on one who isn't better than what we had baffles me. Add to that the fact he gives away stupid goals, makes decisions that don't make sense to anything other than twelve year old amateur players then it's another clear down grade. I find it laughable people always start going on about age as an excuse.
What kind of left back gets caught in the ninetieth minute as the furthest player forward when you are leading one nil?
That is complete amateur child's football. I will never rate players who constantly make these type of mistakes as no matter how good they often appear they will always cost you far too many games, Skrtel being a great example
