Liverpool have agreed a season-long loan deal with Chelsea for winger Victor Moses.

The Nigeria international is expected to undergo a medical on Monday after the Reds agreed to pay the Londoners a loan fee of around £1.5million.

Moses, Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori are all expected to be at Anfield to watch today's Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Sakho and Ilori, who both had their medicals and agreed personal terms yesterday, are on the brink of completing their moves to Liverpool.

France international centre-back Sakho will cost £15million from Paris Saint-Germain with the Reds paying Sporting Lisbon £7million for Ilori.

Liverpool remain interested in Aston Villa keeper Shay Given but the Reds have yet to reach an agreement with the Midlands outfit.

Enough with the loans. Our squad is very thin as it is, even with the new signings.

Wow, that's a lot of money for Sakho considering his contract and everything. Hope it pays off.

Can't see Lloris getting many games, I'd consider loaning him straight out.

Sakho is quality though and will seriously push for a starting spot, if not at centre back then at left back.

Gareth Barry is the most expensive player ever with 1 year left on his contract to date.
And he was a midfielder, starter at Villa and an english international playing regularly.
Now we are about to pay 18! million for a CB that is 4th choice at his club, not even close to any games. Would be able to negotiate a free transfer in 5 months time....

Doesn't make it better. 16 million pounds is a lot of money for a defender on his last year of his contract. I think we overpaid.

But Sakho is a good player nonetheless. The fee shouldn't be a problem if he performs well I guess and I believe that he will.

I think that Skrtel is as good as gone. His sale will help fund the arrival of the two CB's.

I don't think that we needed to bring in Ilory though, but I'm looking forward to see why Brendan rates him so much.

Glad we got a new CB - Ilori is one for the future , possibly see him going on loan. Sakho is a lot of money for someone with one year left on his contract - not the best bit of negotiating from the club.

id say tomorrow will be more about exits than arrivals. Seems to be that our squad is to be set at a number.
Im just happy we signed a few tbh . As long as they can step up to be the quality that we need then alls good. Would have preferred we got a DM in but maybe they will be the final touches in the next window.
