As for signing / loaning in Tottenham's scraps, it just sends out a very, very bad message to the rest of the squad.

Tho I am happy we have at least signed Sakho and Illori. Our CB deficiencies have been sorted out.

I have no idea why you keep responding to me when it's obvious you blow a gasket every time you read one of my posts.

I always found it funny the peanuts on forums that get so worked up by people they had never met before.

Here's some crayons for you to entertain yourself with lad, scribble away to your little hearts content.....

He's better than Downing, Ibe and Sterling (currently), so he is good enough for us.

I can't see it being reported anywhere.

Me neither. Not keen on this.

I've only seen links (sky) to Sahko, Lorry & Moses.

Who's these fooking moaners on about signing rejects from the clubs above us? Need I remind everyone who's leading the line against Man U today with a goal return of 4 in 3 for us so far? Moses might very well be of the same mould, he didn't get a chance at Chelsea and half the league were competing for his signature before he inexplicably opted for Wigan. If he has anything like the impact of Studge bring him on.

Chelsea reject? I bet they'd have him back sooner than keep some of the dross they've splashed out on. Have some f*cking faith in your club and manager for Christ sake. Anything for a moan some of you lot

Assuming they're confirmed, we're not getting a pair of players ready made to slot into our team and immediately start turning out top performances, I'm optimistic they'll prove to be good signings (although in truth I've seen little of Sakho and sod all of Illori) but it'll take any new arrivals at a new club in a new league time to bed in, especially CB's.

Happy we're finally addressing the CB issue but it should have been done a hell of a lot sooner.

even if his life was dependant on it.
He isn't going to sign a new contract as he hasn't being getting any playing time for a long time and PSG would get £0 next summer.
I am all for buying quality players but getting robbed blind by PSG makes no sense.

I am not foreign to the idea of getting other teams cast offs as they are cheap and coulf blossom in the right enviroment.
Even if some may not think so, Sturridge and Couthino were both cast offs, which is the reason they went so cheap.
Just have to trust the scouts and managers if they can find some good buys.

isnt sakho a regular starter for psg?
i just assumed he was one of their first choice CB`s

we always seem to be signing players that `might` get into our first team, we never seem to sign the kind of top quality players that would walk into our starting XI.

The reality is that the top 3 clubs have bench players superior than lads getting into our first 11 and this is the
position we are in.

A player like Moses is a means to an end and that is help push us into the 4th position and we can go on to phase
2 of the project from there. Not saying it will succeed but that's the idea.

Moses is a decent footballer who can operate anywhere along the front line and scores goals and creates competition
for places.

With Llori and Sakho looking likely to come in. With the potential of Moses on loan I hope we havent given up on Yarmelenko or someone of his quality for the left side

Get the feeling we don't want to go out there and spend  big amounts just for the sake of it now we have missed on our primary targets and see bringing in Moses on loan as bit of a stop gap until January and/or next summer. I suppose that is fair enough as after the debacle with Carroll and Downing and avoiding getting our fingers burnt. Still feel underwhelmed though

cant see that happening myself, sakho and ilori are going to set us back £20m, cant see us spending another £20m+ in the next 24 hours on top of that.
rather than spend that sakho/ilori money on one player that would walk into (and improve) the first team we`d rather fritter it away on improving the squad.
when you add up what we`ve spent on outfield players this summer we could have brought in say muriel and ericksen.
we seem to have the art of spending big money without getting much in return.
last summer was the same, with allen, borini and assaidi we spent nearly £30m on squad players who hardly affected the first team, that money could have went on one big name who would have played week in week out.
what we do is false economy, most of what we spend in transfers ends up on the bench not out on the pitch
