yeah, the echo reported the other day that apparently reina`s agent told rodgers and ayre to expect a bid of around £8m for pepe before this window is over.

I'm totally speculating here, my view from afar(very afar actually) Dempsey went to Spurs for a simple reason. Fulham did not want to sell him to us. They were ***** off about the way the club handled the whole matter. I don't think it was down to money. It was a case of Spurs being willing to match any offer we made for Dempsey.

the offal confirms that the aspas move is complete as soon as the documentation is completed. celta have confirmed the move on their website.

Strange they announced that.. I wonder if they felt fans were getting restless or worried that smaller clubs were going to swoop on him so they announced it to make a bit of a statement. Last time the club announced an on principle deal I think was Jovanovic, and that's because Rafa got him to sign in January when he had 6 months left.
