The headlines are down to Suarez. In football it is the hot news.
He is the one to blame by feeding the media the ammunition to focus on him. He prob doesn't care but its getting to the point where he needs to start caring about it. Maybe that will stop him acting like a ***** on the pitch.
anything that happens in footy these days is hot news because you have 24 hour rolling sports news channels and radio stations that are entirely dedicated to discussing sport all day (and most of the night). everything is hyped to the rafters.
headlines are going to happen wether you want them to or not, if they didnt have suarez`s bite to talk about they`d probably start a discussion about wether brendan rodgers should keep his job or start talking about suarez leaving to go to bayern or something.
So basically they are going to make stuff up and most of us will just ignore them for what they are - made up rubbish to create headlines.
And then Suarez just goes and helps them

I've seen the Walking Dead.......it surprised me how contagious it is..... the FA need to act now to prevent a world epidemic...Ivanovic should be put in quaratine for at least 28 days

when defoe bit mascherano there wasnt all this carry on.
anyway you`d think suarez was the only person connected with the club to do something nuts in our 120 year history.
around the time of the first world war some of our players were involved in a match fixing scandal with united players, we`ve had players kick referee`s up the @rse, we`ve had players break opponents jaws with a punch, we`ve had players end other players career`s with one tackle, we`ve had players spit in a fans face, we`ve had players go to prison, we`ve had fans go to prison, we`ve had players knock opponents clean out whilst fighting on the pitch and as i said in an earlier post 39 innocent people lost their lives because the fans of this club went on a rampage..... but suarez is damaging the reputation of the club?
some people need to get a few LFC history books for christmas.

Yes it was shocking (funny though) and could have caused harm. But it didnt. So his violent conduct charge will be for attempting to carry out a violent act.
You can feel the FA's blood pumping and erections rising with the thought of how they can punish him by showing the world how strong a stance they take against this type of behaviour (havent we been here before?) and of course the normal 3 match ban isnt enough. Oh no. How about a 6 month ban? After all he had an 8 match ban for racism, and before that an 8 match ban for biting. Obviously match bans dont work. What they need is a clear and concise message to this foreign tw@t that they will not tolerate anything they dont like, especially if its carried out by someone who ignores them and thinks theyre hypocritical phoney cu'nts. They must make an example of this spanish speaking, ugly, buck toothed little Urugyan who has the audacity to treat them with the contempt they deserve.
Oh Luis, you have give them the ammunition they so wanted in order to destroy you, and in the process fatally wound us.

There is only one person to blame
Luis Suarez

What I'm reading about his ban is very laughable as well. The normal punishment for his behavior would be a 3 match ban, but since it's Luis Suarez, standard punishment doesn't apply for him, and a three-match ban is "clearly insufficient". Clearly insufficient? Did he bit Ivanovic's hand off or something? He doesn't even have a bite mark on his arm FFS.
Of course, a 3-4 match ban is "sufficient" enough for kicking ball boys.

Again you miss the point
Suarez will be rightly punished for what he did - it has no connection to anything else that anyone has done.
It's an unnatural act to bite someone and that's why a simple 3 match ban won't be enough. He didnt learn from being banned for 7 games last time did he
