Sell him? Don’t be stupid. 5-10 match ban form the FA, fine from the club and apologies all round. Done and dusted.

And Souness, a player who often went out to seriously injury his opponent, putting their career and livelihood at stake, saying it’s the last chance saloon. I would much rather take bite to the arm then one his “tackles”.

Anyone saying we should sell him is insane. Did Utd sell Cantona when he did his kung fu kick all those years ago? Course not. What Luis did was inexcusable but you keep hold of world class players, especially considering he is by far our best player and without him this season we would have nowhere. Luis needs to apologise and the club needs to come out and make the right statement which I am sure they will. Luis will serve a ban and we as a club need to work with him to make sure it never happens again and we move on

some Liverpool fans care what other fans say about Suarez, what idiots

who gives a sh!t what skysports say or what that hypocrite Souness says as well, he is our best player by a country mile and Rodger's got it all wrong in saying he is easily replaceable.

Its all blown out of proportion I would agree with that and if someone tried to bite me
in a game I would personally find it oddly amusing.

Only thing I would say is the club have a bigger picture to consider and its not as straight forward
as just backing their man for them with sponsors and investors to please and that dreaded word
'brand' at stake.

Luis is just a passionate guy that loves playing football and when he is on that field he has absolutely
no thought for consequence, and all he wants to do is to fight and win the game for his team by any means
and he cannot be changed, and frankly nor should he.

Im not saying its the right thing and I love Suarez because I like the characters in the game, but knowing how
the world works I can see FSG using this as a vehicle to move him on and had they intended it anyway its just
a gift to push it through.

selling luis would be insane.
neither the fans or the club condone what he did and he will be punished accordingly.
i was watching the game on the laptop but had sky news on the tv, within 5 minutes of the incident they had a breaking news banner flying across the screen about the incident. both clubs have been involved in p.r nightmares in the last year so it was good to see the matter was dealt with amicably after the game rather than fueled by rash statements.
perfect response from the club and suarez has put his hand up and admitted guilt, the club should close the matter now and refuse to comment until the f.a investigation is complete and verdict given which hopefully will be a speedy process and then we move on.
obviously luis has issues and needs to learn to control these sudden rushes to the head so the club should provide him with access to a professional who will teach him better self control.
if we are to indeed press for top 4 next season then its vital he is still here imo.

ssn reporting that ivanovich was contacted by the police and he does not want to press charges, chelsea have also said as far as they are concerned the matter is finished.
luis has been in contact with ivanovich and apoligised.
the club needs to keep a lid on this and not get drawn into making silly comments on a daily basis

he's as good as gone. his season is over.  fa will investigate tmrw, his ban will take him pass the end of the season, sold in the summer. he's worth a lot of money to the owners and this is chance they can get rid of trouble and back many millions. replacing him will be hard but they will.

I found it quite hypocritical of Souness sitting there today criticising Suarez for the way he was representing the club after the way Souness represented himself so well back in '92 and THAT interview in THAT Sh*t rag whilst still Liverpool Football Club manager.   :suspect:

The club have responded to this inexcusable f*ck up by Suarez swiftly and correctly by saying they'll deal with him internally cause lets face it come the morning he'll have been hung, drawn and quartered by the press, there's no need for them to add to it.  Suarez and the club should and probably will accept whatever punishment is handed down by the old duffers at FA H.Q. and will hopefully then draw a line under it and move on (hopefully not until the next time). As for selling him, there is no clear footballing or business sense to have a knee jerk reaction that would have serious repercussions on the team. Yes, he's let everyone down big time and it does raise questions about his future conduct but selling him now would be folly, £40m+   not on your life, £20m probably.

Gutted the genius with dark side has gone off the rails again

However fair due to Chelsea who don't want to seem to make a meal out of it

Suarez needs swift and considerable punishment but as far as im concerned selling is just insane

As stupid as it was it was also funny. Biting someone?

Anyway, I don't think he did it because he wants to get sold or he wants to chase other clubs off, nor do I think that this will have an effect regarding his future at the club.

And stop kidding yourselves guys. Selling him would be the worse thing we can do if we want to get back where we belong and you know it. He's the player we rely on most and without him we would have no chance whatsoever of challenging for a top 4 finish next season. The thing he did is disgraceful, especially for a club with a respectable reputation like us, but like others have mentioned, Man U had players like Cantona and Keane who brought shame on the club on daily basis, yet they didn't sell them. Why? Because they won them titles. And look what people think of them now. They consider them f*cking legends of football.

It's just stupid to try to sell a player of Luis' quality.

Its very very silly isn't it. Sort it out in combination with the FA and take the punishment. Sell? No need. If we were going to do that we should have done it last time he disgraced himself.

Whats pi$$es me off is the way Henry Winter in they Telegraph is trying to pressure us to sell him, the same guy that hates Liverpool and hates Rafa with a vengeance. Another of Ferguson's Bum Chums. Kunt.
