second half with support caused havoc. some of the interplay between him and sturridge was extremely encouraging.

they both looked good together and i'm really excited by what i saw.  Great link up play within mins of Sturidge coming on....image how they will be after a months?  :buttrock

They looked so go together that we will probably rotate them !!

really struggled first half but not his fault at all but the formation and players around him.
second half much better but i think he played in the hole and wasnt part of the front 3. his link up with sturridge looked good for such an early stage of them playing together and it does bode well going forward.

They seemed to have time to look at each other and connect. I think Suarez looked surprised a few times to see someone ahead of himself, in space, running and looking for the ball.....Andy C was always on the 1/2 way line as well........I hope this develops into something over the next few weeks

LS will always be full of controversies, but he is a world class player without his goals we'll be fighting relegation now. I hate to say this but, I believe he will want to leave in the summer due to no CL football next season and the next 3 seasons and at 26, he doesn't have the time to wait for Lvp to achieve that, if ever. Because he's so good for Lvp right now, MCity, RM, PSG, Barca etc will want him and to be honest, if I were him, I would go. Why waste all your time and talents on a club that is still working in progress with no CL football in sight, with stingy owners and deeply rooted at mid table when Barca or City are knocking hard on my doors?

The only positive thing from this is that he had signed a long term contract with us and we can demand another price tag of 50M for him and we can use that to sign 3 to 4 more 12M Sturridge like kind of players in return, which I feel is better than having one world class Suarez, because if he's injured esp. during last 3 months when Borini was out, we would have been f'ucked.

I see what you are saying. But Saurez needs our support more than anything, and I also don't think any LFC supporter should even suggest the possibility of selling him. He's ours.

just when we sign a lad that can form a deadly partnership with him you reckon we should consider breaking them up. we have a chance with them to actually make the top 4 next year or even this year if they really hit it off and the last thing we should be doing is breaking them up.
if anything you should have learned about luis is that he isnt greedy and has a rare trait that is loyalty.
sell your best players and you will always be a work in progress and will never get CL football and i thought that much was obvious even to the thickest of liverpool fans.
what do we do with sturridge then :eyebrow if he scores 20 next season ? should we also let him go ?  :help

Don't always come to the defence of alwayslfc but I think a few of you on this occasion are seriously missing his point even if he is being a very depressing glass half empty kind of a bloke! Where does he say sell Suarez? He actually make the very realistic  point that we would be in the relegation zone without Luis. I don't agree though that Luis will want to leave in the summer and that one will be down to BR.

we only just hung on to our better players last summer (and i didnt like that `every player has his price` mantra coming out of the club at the time either)
if we dont get into the top 4 we`ve got a long summer ahead of us.

I said previously that should an offer of 30+ m come in we should sell LS.

BUT I have completely changed my mind. We need to move heaven and earth to keep this guy. He has the rare combination of Skill, desire, and work rate. Yes, he can be frustrating sometime but he is a footballing genius.
