oh here something that is a bit of a worry, a guy on Twitter says that Arsenal are about to ask our club if they can talk to  Reina.

would leave us short of a goalkeeper in our set up.

I do think that although Reina seems to be getting some form back he's not the player he was a few years ago under Benitez.  He looks like a player who maybe needs a new challenge to bring him back to his best, especially having seen a few managers come and go here over recent years without any progress.

I still hope we'll keep him and he'll get his mojo back and if a time comes where he wants to go or the manager decides to move him on, I would absolutely not sell him to another club in England.  Arsenal can f.c.k off.

Skysports linking us to Kalou again.  Apparently he's not done brilliantly at Lille and they're looking to offload him for a couple of mil after picking him up for free in the summer.  Kalou himself is quoting LFC and west ham as being interested.

Personally I don't think that at 27 Kalou is ever going to reach his early potential shown.  Like Shaun-Wright Phillips he spent too many years warming the Chelsea bench when he should have been playing football and progressing.

And... it's yet another ex-Chelsea player that Rodgers has worked with previously.  Hopefully nothing in it.

I read somewhere that BR wants to send Coates out on loan, possibly in Italy. I suspect its for playing experience as opposed to wanting to offload him.

yeah right he's been loaned out and then sold in the summer imo.
rodgers just simply will not play this lad and chooses carra ahead of him everytime. he doesnt rate him and he will be replaced with someone he does want like alex pierce from reading.

Can't see Coates leaving, we'd then only have three CBs. I know Wisdom can play there, but it just doesn't seem likely to me, the squad isn't big enough for him to go, despite the fact that it would be good for him to get regular game time - he definitely needs it!

apparently it been 2 weeks since we last spoke to blackpool regarding ince. appleton says that our offer was below their value and we have to do better or he stays there.

i hope he stays tbh but he does need playing time as he is 18 mths here and was hardly used and thats no good for either party.
with the emergence of wisdom this season i hope to see kelly played as a centre half when he returns. i do have an inkling that we will be signing pierce and butland but hopefully it isnt at the expense of seba and reina.

We should sign Ince and leave him on loan at Blackpool so he can develop.  He comes here and has to fight with the likes of Sterling, Suso, and Downing.

The signing of Ince is dependent on the sale of Downing, with Stoke reportedly interested. Selling Downing will create space in our squad and provide the funding needed for Ince. We already have enough attacking players in the squad so we should get rid before we bring anyone else in.
