I'll tell you who I blame, the fecking Spanish and their strikerless tika-taka, Euro-winning *****.  Clearly someone's decided having strikers in the side is so 2010.  Tighten the chin straps and adjust the cod pieces, lads, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Looks like so many of you aren't able to appreciate what the owners have done for us. After giving a bucketload of money to a manager who recklessly blew it on players who were never worth that much, did any of you expect them to loosen the purse strings once more without selling the players who weren't good enough before making more signings? This isn't just about football and players coming in and out. Look at what's going on with Malaga for example. The owners have the responsibility to ensure that we do not become the next Leeds or Portsmouth but I don't think all of you comprehend that point because all you care about is wanting new players. Go support Chelsea then. Let's see how self-sustainable they are when/if Roman decides to pack and leave. In my opinion, they have done a very good job and if you want to place the blame on anyone with regards to too much money being spent, blame it on Dalglish and Comolli.

I agree I like the way Barcelona plays tiki taka football... but it is also not without any setbacks... look at the way Chelsea beat them in the CL. But I don't really like  the way Spain plays tiki taka football recently... it seems to me they are passing too much without penetrating. Tiki taka football needs to be moderated so that it is a bit more direct and decisive in the final third. I prefer some of our best performances under Rafa but that may be because of Alonso-Gerrard-Torres triangle...

The manager was keen on another striker and made it public but what do the owners do? Get rid of a striker without replacing him? And these lot are supposed to be experienced businessmen with a track record at turning around teams? Sorry but today was a joke for me and a slap in the face to Rogers and the fans. I'm f*cking furious. If Suarez decides to go off the rails which lets face it is possible we are left with only Borini up front. Someone pinch me please I must be dreaming zzz  I thought for a minute we had some ambitious owners.

Someone somewhere made a valid comment that made me think, we're probably the highest paying (in wage and transfer fees), team who don't regularly make the CL. Then on top of that we don't make match day revenue like the 'manc, arsenal and other such teams do - it made me think we're in some respect punching above our financial weight, well, we did last season anyway.

I'm as disillusioned with FSG as I was with Hicks and Gillett. I don't know what FSG are, but to call them investors is risible. They haven't invested any of their own wealth into the club. Kenny's money came directly from revenue taken in by the club namely through player sales out of the table, Torres, Babel etc.

Our squad looks very small and very weak. We've gotten rid of good players in Kuyt, Maxi, Aquilani and Bellamy and not replaced those players. We've loaned out a striker and have not brought anybody in. If Suarez gets injured we have to then rely on two inexperienced youngsters in Borini and Morgan. It's not right to ask players like Sterling, Morgan and Borini to get us into the top four. If FSG think that Liverpool can spend little and acquire 4th spot when clubs like Arsenal and Spurs are spending money on strengthening their squad, then they're going to be disappointed.

They want us to get into the CL and yet have not invested into Rodgers' plan. So much for him being 'their man'. It's an absolute disgrace. I understand that FSG want to follow the FFP rules and I understand that FSG want us to be sustainable and not have to rely on constant cash injections to the club, but they also need to back Rodgers's plan and they haven't done that.

Our squad looks weaker this season than last season, I guarantee that the squad last season wouldn't have struggled over two legs to beat Hearts who would struggle to remain in the Championship if they switched leagues.

Fenway have no emotional investment in the club and its a big problem for us.

Buying a club and running it smartly is one thing but on some level there has to be
a genuine desire to see the team do well and enjoy the product and these guys just
dont have that in their hearts unfortunately.

They are pushing their luck now with this restructre and unless Rodgers can perform
miracles it looks like Fenway have put one foot on the same rocky road G&H walked
down and we know how that plays out.

Emotional investment from foreign backed owners? Come off it mate how many owners have an emotional attachment to their clubs? It's all a money making cash cow for them. It's just that you don't hear about emotional attachment from those owners who are piling money in. Where as when they are in the spotlight for the bad reasons people start to question it.

I think they may be looking to sell us. Get the wage bill down, get the club commercially fitter than before, improve the squad a bit... sell. If they had any ambition to take us forward they would not have left us with only 2 strikers for the whole season.

If we are to believe that they want us to succeed to make us more profitable then it doesnt make sense not to invest
They must know that we will not move up the table without better players?
