I'm not too confident about this "a premier league club" thing. It maybe City. Hopefully it's us and Suarez had managed to persuade Ramirez to join him at liverpool. Because in terms of money and in terms of CL football, we can't compete with other clubs...

With the amount of players we have been linked to in the last 12 months we should have a squad of around 90 players.

Some journo can say we are signing Xabi back and everyone suddenly believes it - oh that already happened didn't it.

You can get journos saying a player will join the club within 48 hours and people go out and buy a shirt with his name on it.

I'm not sure if it's because everyone is so desperate to get players at the club they believe everything.

On Wed a tweet went out that Ramirez was in London on his way up to the North West ! People suddenly thought he was on his way to us and signing !! He was here for the Olympics ffs !!

His agent three weeks ago said Napoli were after him - now its a prem club !! He is trying to boost his price up.

The club have said nothing Bologna have mentioned Napoli not us - and I don't mean a journo saying the clubs spoke - actually confirmation from the club like we had with Borini , Allen and Dempsey !

It was the same last summer and winter ! I never realised Liverpool fans became so gulible !!

Ramirez may well sign for the club but until the club confirm something then it's just baseless rehashing of rumours.

Next we will have people on the board saying the know a prem player and he says we have offered money for him !!

Funny you say that, my mates mum knows another women, whos brother in law is a taxi driver, one of his mates said he dropped Cavani off at melwood and he said we are signing him for 30 million.
