Seems a little bit weird this one ,but most papers are reporting it .

maybe they dont want to pay scouts anymore and are now recruiting from youtube .

So people giving out yards that we might be paying up to 15m on 22 yr old Joe Allen, what do you make of Chelsea paying 25m on 20 yr old Oscar or United bidding 28m on a teenager Lucas moura!?!?!

Spurs are in for Allen too....

You have to be a bit more clear than that..  There are plenty of Welsh footballers who are better than some of the almost 200 million Brazilian citizens.....FACT.

If you are only comparing the best of Brazil, like Pele, Ronaldo, Romario, Carlos, etc, then no, you won't find any welsh players better than them.  But you look at players like Ryan Giggs and Gareth Bale, and they are definitely better than many brazilian players.  Brazil is ridiculously overrated.  Neymar is one of the most overrated players I've ever seen, and all these 18-21 year old "amazing brazilians" have yet to leave Brazil and prove themselves in a real league.  Neymar scored about 1 goal every 2 games in the Brazilian league last year, and this season he has 30 in 31 of all competitions.  That includes the brazilian cups were they play clubs who would lose games to mls sides.  Neymar, oscar, lucas moura, Ganso and Hulk are all overrated, and none will ever be better than Giggs.

i read a little rumour that rodgers is interested in bringing in simon kjaer to partner agger in defence. now that would be nice.

You can go with nice, but I'll go with depressing! Not a bad defender don't get me wrong, but I'd rather keep Skrtel!

I was trying to make the point that just because they are from Brazil they are rated higher than english or welsh.

If Allen was the same player, only called Allenzinio and came from Sao Paulo no one would bat an eyelid at playing 15mill for him.

I would say a good % of liverpool fans are not to sure about the 15m fee.

I'd rather have a scandi central defence of Agger and Hangeland, it staggers me why none of the top clubs are in for him, he's an excellent defender and scores a fair few goals as well.
