just reading an interesting article about it, it questions the wisdom of these fly on the wall documentaries pointing out that they are always made with the best of intentions but end up showing the cracks behind the scene`s.
in the late 60`s the beatles made the let it be documentary to show how the band worked in the studio but it ended up showing the band breaking up, in the early 90`s the f.a commissioned a documentary which was meant to be shown on t.v in the run up to the world cup in the u.s.a depicting how england qualified for the tournament but it ended up as the infamous`graham taylor documentary`, as we all know england failed to qualify, even QPR did one recently as a p.r exercise but it ended up showing the chaos in the boardroom.
apparently our documentary starts three quarters of the way through last season just as the battle for the champions league places is heating up, it starts at the arsenal game at anfield which we lose 2-1, after that we lose 9 of our last 14 league games. it shows us losing the f.a cup final. it shows the owners sacking kenny and starting a brand new dawn with rodgers.
apparently the t.v camera`s were in the dressing room at west brom before the game, at half time and after the game.
the documentary is going to end with the city match at anfield on sunday.
a big loss in that game and this documentary could end up being a classic of the genre and a pr disaster.

here`s a clip of brendan having a stern word with raheem during pre season training in the states. i wonder if brendan is like that all the time or is he playing up to the camera`s? lets face it after the graham taylor documentary managers will be aware of the fact that it`s important to come across as a strong leader, things like this can even define your career, that graham taylor doc practically finished phil neal`s managerial career.
i suppose the only people who`d know if he is playing to the camera`s or not are the people who have worked with him before.

I'm glad someone posted that.  Thanks Mr. Alphabet.  This looks very similar to the 24/7 build up the the Winter Classic (NHL).  I don't think he's playing up to the cameras.  The New York Rangers head coach was asked if the film crew affected him.  He said it did the first couple of days, but he said that they do a great job of making themselves known to everyone on the team and then they sort of just drift to the backround and do their thing.

really looking forward to seeing the finished product.  The previews and trailers have been top notch.
