Its a non story. The programme is boring as fu'ck and there is very little revelation, if any.

Why are people so surprised that football managers use psychological methods to get the best out of players? Shankly was famous for it. The envelopes thing isn’t even original within football circles. Fergie has used it at United, and I’d bet that many other managers have too.

Mark Hughes: Sir Alex Ferguson came in and said: “I’ve got a number of names in this envelope and these names will let us down if we allow them to think we will do it again just because we have done it once.” He never told us the names in the envelope. Perhaps it's just me but I find Rodgers' team talks quite placid in terms of firing his players up. I'd be aggressive, tell the players that they are up against are s.hit and really get red faced in the changing room to fire them up.
