brendan inherited this stupid program.

exactly, if it was Kenny Dalglish, you wouldn't have heard a word from Lawro.

Seriously, it's only a TV show to make more money so let's treat it as such

Its a non story. The programme is boring as fu'ck and there is very little revelation, if any.
Why the fu'ck Lawrenson is commenting on it is beyond me. Is he trying to say that as an ex Liverpool player he is embarrassed by the show?
Fu'ckin hell mate read your column and watch yourself on tv if you want to see embarrassing

My mate told me a documentary is being made about everton called "Being Bitter".
I asked "when does it start?", he said: "in the 80's..."

I wonder if they show the team talk after the WBA game?

You can buy a lot with £10k a week, and I bet he's on more than that.

I'm wondering when this crass nonsense will finish. Don't tell me this idoicy is going to continue throughout the season? No wonder we've had a poor start to this season when our players are out making 'Cribs' for some American sports company.

Why are people so surprised that football managers use psychological methods to get the best out of players? Shankly was famous for it. The envelopes thing isn’t even original within football circles. Fergie has used it at United, and I’d bet that many other managers have too.

Mark Hughes: Sir Alex Ferguson came in and said: “I’ve got a number of names in this envelope and these names will let us down if we allow them to think we will do it again just because we have done it once.” He never told us the names in the envelope. Probably there weren’t any names. But he’d got us all thinking that we had to show him that it wasn’t us.

Perhaps it's just me but I find Rodgers' team talks quite placid in terms of firing his players up. I'd be aggressive, tell the players that they are up against are s.hit and really get red faced in the changing room to fire them up.  :D
