called him negrito
offered his hand but realised the dirty scum was playing a game and moved on

Evra claims on Canal TV that Suarez called him a nigger 10 times! Even some of own supporters (Boscarf) are ignorantly suggesting Suarez called Evra a Negro. Suarez called him Negrito and Evra knows to this day that there were no racial connotations intended but that both he and MUFC could cause maximum embarrassment to LFC and and this they successfully achieved.

LFC could have handled the matter differently but that is hindsight. I will always admire Kenny and the club for the way they stood by Suarez who simply made a mistake. As for shaking Evra's hand I would be delighted if Suarez never shakes his hand. You shake somebody's hand out of respect and how Luis could ever respect an individual that went out of his way to cause him so much personal harm is simply beyond comprehension. No doubt Kewell and Boscarf will not agree!

Evra pulled his hand away as Suarez prepared to shake it. FACT!
The positive side to the story is that Evra won fu'ck all with skank united and france

Apparently according to rumours, we have offered £7m for Demba Ba and are ready to offload Suarez to Juventus. Thankfully this won't be the case. We cannot afford to lose Suarez because without Champions League football, we cannot replace like for like because a lot of top footballers won't come to a club which isn't in Europe's premier competition.

Is it? What top class players can we sign without Champions League football? Sure if our Owners operated like Roman and Monsur then we could say to the likes of Falcao, Gomez and Ribery. Here's £300k a week, come and play for us, we might be able to lure some top quality players into the club. But I doubt we can given our circumstances.

If thats the only reason they'll play for a club then fuk them all. any player with half a brain can see we're not in CL but we are undergoing changes and with the right players we can acheive this in the near future. If I was a big name player I'd relish the thought of helping get Liverpool back into the CL, knowing I was a part of the team that did it, not just look around and plump for a team already there. whoopee do.

You would only relish it because you are a Liverpool fan - not many of the big name players are unfortunatly - they go to the success and money.

It's no good whinging about it, Roger. That's just the way it is. That's football. We're no longer a top four side who is challenging for major honours and competiting in the Champions League, so the pool of quality players we can attract has naturally shrunk. Even when we could have signed some quality footballers, we missed the boat. We might have signed Vidic and Evra, but for Parry's refusal to sort things out as he was on holiday, by the time he returned and faxed Spartak Moscow and Monaco respectively, both footballers were lined up to sign for United. Dalglish might have been able to sign both Turan and Falcao, but opted for Downing and Carroll.

I'd like to see us try and sign that Joao Moutinho, but it appears that United are after him. If we go in for him and United do, then it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that he'd opt to sign for United because they can offer him higher wages and Champions League football.

Rodgers has a mammoth task of re-establishing ourselves as a major player in the league and as a Champions League team, but those who think we can attract Europe's top talent are delusional.

Precisely. Who can blame them? They have short careers and will want to win as many medals and collect as many millions as they can, because they probably won't ever 'work' again once they retire.

Just love Rodgers ,because I know whoever he brings in will be compatible with his vision of playing beautiful football ...Its high time we started turning
young unproven talents into genuine superstars ,and I honestly believe Rodgers is a manager who believes more in unearthing a rough diamond than paying
over the odds for an established  player whose only motive is monetary gain .

says in tonights echo that in an interview abroad suarez was asked about the best defenders he`s ever played against or with. interestingly enough he said martin skrtel is the best defender he`s ever played with in his career, he says martin has got the lot - quick, strong, good in the air etc.
