Heard last night that we tried to do a straight swap with spurs for cisse in exchange for defoe, also Manutd tried to offer saha and 3m for defoe. So one things for sure this spells the end of cisse but we all knew that anyway, and still no right winger, but it could be a good think. Now knowing that we will hopefully sign joaquin in the summer. So it looks like stevie will spend majority of the remainder of the season out wide. In rafa we trust, its good to see that he takes no crapppp in the transfer market this victor may be a blessing in disguise not coming things happen for a reason and like a few more wasn't keen on him coming anyway. So thats the transfers done and put to bed until the summer.What will i do now!!

Heard it this morning on the radio el. Can't see defoe being to pleased about it.Maybe jol has seen sense and can now see that this cisse is a load of shiteeeeeeeeeeee.I can see us like with diouf losing alot of money, prob end up getting rid for around 6m.
We still have dudek as well i must admit i feel sorry for him, he wants to be playing regular football to stand him in good stead for the world cup. But he ain't gona get it. Rafa should have let him go really even if on loan. He deserves that at least........

First I heard of it.

I feel for Dudek too, the same thing is happening to SWP, and even though they both handed in transfer requests, I don't see them making any impression anywhere they go. Both won't play in the World Cup in any case, not because they aren't getting games, but because their positions have been covered.

i read the bbc website and it mentioned those rumours, i dont believe them but alonso is class and it wouldnt surprise me if clubs were looking at him, but he seems happy at liverpool.

cisse is defo going and i cant wait till we get a right winger, but at the moment finnan and gerrard provide enough width to maintain our chase for 2nd and cup glory.
