There is quality out there available for the right price. Spurs aren't on the same financial footy as City yet attract quality. We don't have the means to buy in the volume they did but if we can't afford to buy two quality players at decent fee and wages - then I would ask where our money is going.

Rafa had the opportunity to sign Wolfswinkel, he never obliged.
And just to reimind you, we're only 8 days into the transfer window.
All is not lost yet.

The failure of the Mkhitaryan transfer is a lot to do with us stalling, we should have wrapped it up ages ago but stalled after speaking to his agents in London. Dunno if we got cold feet, but Raiola refused to let us speak to Mkhitaryan after we messed them about.
Can expect at least 2 more players to come in (I got no names), maybe more if we sell Suarez. But they're not dependent on the sale of Luis. The new boys in training look good, especially Mignolet & Aspas. Alberto looks a little lightweight at the moment, but he has plenty time.
Sterling is another player who's had high praise in pre season training so far, apparently he returned 2 weeks before anyone else did.
Just to clarify, we spoke to Raiola in London NOT Mkhitaryan, we've never held direct talks with him.

If the club were serious about Mkhitaryan then hopefully they will have a plan B/alternative.
There is also a few dismissing the twitter fella because he is supposed to be "Anti FSG" and the blame is trying to be shifted onto Ayre etc for the failure to sign the player. Media is Germany just saying he preferred Dortmund once they became interested because of their recent successes and the current situation they are in
