If they spend 4 mil on Salciedo and we spend 1 million on Koncesky it just shows how bad our financial constraint are :(

Which one ?

That's what i was going to ask

Hopefully its Lassana and not the other one .

Unfortunately it's the other one. :(

Yup, the other one.
It's on the liverpool website.

What are u guys talking about?  Mahamadou is a very good player, sure he's been out long but if he is fully recovered, Id take him in a heartbeat.

Mahamadou Diarra - top top player for many seasons with Lyon and at the start with Real.  Don't know hoe fit he is though?  If fit, certainly worth a punt.  Be very good alongside Stevie I think.

Comes to something if Salcida signs for Fulham FC over Liverpool cos we can't stump up £4m!  Konchesky - please ....

Well Roy obviously only bought Poulsen as a backup and Lucas is not cut out to be the main DM in our team.  I believe he would be direct replacement for Mascherano.

Why every year do we get these deals that drag on and on?

If Masch and Kuyt go and we can spend on players we need I won't be unhappy - we are desperate for a left back, striker and please please some width - when was the last time we had a decent wide player.

Liverpool linked with Dutch hotshot
26th Aug 2010 - Transfer Gossip

Liverpool are poised to make an approach for Holland forward Ricky van Wolfswinkel, according to reports.

Last week there were suggestions in the media that the Reds are to offer £8 million for the 21-year-old, and now Tribalfootball says that FC Utrecht are expecting an imminent bid from the Anfield club.

Roy Hodgson is understood to have identified his striking department as an area in need of reinforcement and, hence, has been linked to numerous goalscorers since taking over as Liverpool boss last month.

And, if reports are to be believed, van Wolfswinkel could soon be on his way to Merseyside.

The FC Utrecht frontman is one of the hottest prospects in Dutch football, and has hit the ground running this year with six strikes in seven games; adding to his tally of 10 goals last season in his debut campaign at the Stadion Galgenwaard.

Celtic have previously shown an interest in the former Vitesse marksman, but Liverpool look to be leading the chase for the Holland international.

The Reds have also been linked with moves for West Ham striker Carlton Cole and Swedish hotshot Ola Toivonen as they look to add a new recruit before the transfer window closes next week.

He has scored 3 so far against Celtic tonight
