and everyone one trys it on with us given we have a record of being a soft touch in the
transfer market.

The lad looks a good player but Im just sick of us being ripped off and we need to start
being more agressive on these matters and not being taken for a ride by every club we
do business with.

We need a total overhaul of our scouting department, how the f.uck can we not find any decent players with low transfer fees? We are a laughing stock at the moment and you cannot blame any club for adding 50% on the transfer fee due to last years incompetence!

I think Allen will arrive here and i am happy with the signing if it happens.

Good player that will surprise people defo for me.
Difference with Henderson is he takes more initiative and isnt afraid to show for the ball and carry it forward.

20 million would be ridiculous though, about 11-12 more realistic

I would guess that almost every team in continental europe employs a 'controller' in
midfield so it shouldnt be too hard to find another if Swansea start messing about though
I suspect the deal will go through.

Least we seem to be identifying the pieces we need and focusing on that this time rather
than some random purchase of a reserve keeper or sixth full back we dont really need like
we have done in the past  :D

don't be surprised if Adam gets bundled into a player + cash option to buy Agger. However, LFC have recently twice had discussions with Adam but with no end result. I'm keeping my cards close to my chest from now on mate cos Benny called me a liar. fek him.

Is it fair to say that any previous discussions with Adam amounted to nothing due to the disparity in expected wages and what the club were willing to offer? One on hand anyone who is only in it for the money should fk right off but we all know £££ is king so FSG should try do more to get in players of that quality.

At the moment it looks like we are trying to host a gala dinner with only McDonalds on the menu.

playing time percentages. he wanted as much as 90% of playing time but LFC said he'd be looking at more like 65%. I don't know how they work that out when they don't know what injuries etc will crop up - beats me. but that wasn't enough as he wants to make sure he plays to get into the England team.

I might just happen though as part of a deal for Agger but I might have read somewhere it could be a loan deal.

This fecks me right off when players start demanding guarantees of playing time. How can the team progress if a manger is expected to guarantee a player a percentage of playing time and then said players does fook all to deserve that playing time.

It's another case of the money ***** and too much player power that has infected the modern game.

What ever happened to playing/fighting for the right to wear the shirt?? :no

I actually agree with you Rushie, I winced a bit when I heard this. so if LFC promise 90% playing time and he signs, then he plays like a tw@t and gets dropped, what then?

I's a bit sh1t
